Pure Note

Pure Note is a vocal term, meaning a tone with a sinusoidal sound wave, considered the most pure vocal tone. Pure Note is our advanced vocal ensemble aimed at addressing the needs of our high end choral students. Students are from Middle and Senior School.

or call the NT Music School on 8963 5550 for more information. Please note due to competition for places, students must re-audition annually. 
What happens in a Pure Note audition.

Rehearsals take place Tuesdays from 4.30pm- 5.00pm, at the NT Music School - Sanderson Middle School Campus.

Things you should know:

  • Students will be required to complete a Permission to Attend NT Music School Ensemble Form on joining an ensemble.
  • An ensemble uniform is required for all performances and can be purchased for $35 prior to the first performance.
  • All students are asked for a one-off annual contribution of $50 to participate in Northern Territory Music School programs. This contribution is requested only once per year, regardless of the number of NTMS programs a student accesses..
  • Students are required to bring , pencil and water bottle to each rehearsal.
