BEAT Festival 2022 - TIME Special Moments!
Welcome to the 43rd annual BEAT Festival. The BEAT Festival is truly a testament to the enthusiasm, dedication and resilience of all the students, teachers, admin staff, parents, the BEAT Foundation and the NT Department of Education, in living the tradition and the experience of the BEAT.
The BEAT Festival 2022 - TIME showcases the creativity, passion, teamwork, courage and talent of our young people engaged in a collaborative performing arts education. It is a unique event, involving students of all ages and stages, from dozens of schools, demonstrating our rich cultural diversity, confidence and harmony. This would not happen without the prioritisation of arts education by the NT Department of Education at all levels and by principals, teachers, families, students and schools - who all recognise the intrinsic value and fundamental importance of creativity and the arts in our lives. We celebrate the participation of Alyangula School, Belyuen School and Jabiru School in this year’s Darwin BEAT Festival 2022 - TIME performances. These schools join Beat Festival regulars, Casuarina Street Primary School (Katherine), in visiting Darwin this week. We also have a wonderful student musician from Katherine High School joining the 32-piece Beat Festival Band in the orchestra pit this year.
Thank you valuing the hard work and spirit of all the participating students.
Enjoy these special moments of BEAT Festival 2022 - TIME.
